In the first Telegram update of 2026, we continue rolling out the Liquid Glass design on iOS with more elements getting the new look. We also introduce AI-powered chat summaries and many other improvements.
AI Chat Summaries
Telegram Premium users can now get AI-generated summaries of long chats and channels. Just tap “Summarize” at the top of any unread chat to get a concise overview of what you missed.
Liquid Glass Design
The Liquid Glass design language, introduced last year, now covers even more UI elements on iOS, including reaction bubbles, media galleries, and voice message waveforms.
Other Improvements
- Stories can now be saved as regular video messages
- New animated emoji for premium users
- Faster video streaming with adaptive bitrate
- Improved search with semantic understanding
